Hi guys,

I want to get my head ported & polished. As well as have my valves/retainers/valveguides put in. Can you guys please reccomend a HIGHLY reputable place who won't be raping me in the *** for price? And if you know how much they charge, please let me know. Also with the shops name and number. Thanks!

it would help if we knew what area you lived in. nine out of ten, people will recommend local shops over places you have to ship your head to.

I actually don't mind shipping. I am in the Atlanta area. But if the shop is reputable enough, I don't mind shipping.

signal auto in torrance cali is very reputable, especially for SR buildups. not sure on the price though. you might want to consider going to a local mechanic's shop there and see where they send they're heads to.

My machinist has done work on S14 SRs. I just can't remember if he has done any flow work on the heads. He did one motor for ALLSPEED that I can think of. The shop name is Scott's Auto Machine & Parts Company. Their number is (770) 461-9313. If you like you can tell Scott that I referred you. Good luck!
