I don't think there are any HuffPo cookies on any of my devices, but thanks for missing the point.

You wrote: "...the Democrats are running as fast as they can from their record firing race baiting accusations in the air like an Iraqi wedding party..."

Reality: One Democrat in the House of Reps said "The TEA Party doesn't like black people."

Cry me a river. This isn't partisanship, it's a refusal to buy into your manufactured outrage. Why don't you just go back to bemoaning the loss of the Gold Standard? Race relations in politics don't seem to be your bag, Captain Iraqi Wedding.

It's not just him.

My outrage is not manufactured. This crap is old hat and it's tired.

Not that it's at all relevant to this, but I challenge you find a post where I said I wanted a gold standard. I see you can't be bothered to seek support for that opinion either. Hey, at least you are consistent.

Wow, sure struck a nerve.

It's not just him, but he's the only one who's offered up as an example of race-baiting in both of your links? Welp, I'm convinced! You're right, TMS, the Democrats are totally running as fast as they can from their records, firing race-baiting accusations in the air like an Iraqi wedding party. I'm totally oblivious for not spotting the one-man, one-speech trend. How totally boneheaded of me. From now on, I'll be sure to keep this well-stocked:

Yep, reality check.

No need to blow that out of proportion. He is literally 1 of 193 House Reps, or about 0.5%. That does not represent the entire Democratic party.

You can't blame him for feeling threatened on behalf of the black community, though. :squint:

Wait, hold up. First I'm a gold standard hawker, I'm not, but ok. Now I'm a conservative, republican may I assume? Which is it exactly because those are not the same people? Which left field wild guess will you be going with today? :rotfl

I don't care what you call yourself. Your outrage is the kind that is expected from certain sections of AM radio. If you don't want your outrage treated like Conservative Outrage (TM), stop brandishing it like that.

One guy.
One speech.
Let's move on.

You know what makes me angry? Debate reduced to this level on EITHER SIDE.

The one thing that both Democrat and Republican leaders have in common is their utter disdain for the intellectual capacity of the common American voter. So instead of using legitimate policy-focused EDUCATION in order to prove that their IDEAS on how to improve this Titanic we call a country are superior, they instead resort to simple victim-aggressor tactics, deliberate misappropriation of audience emotional outrage, and outright chicanery.

I know what we can all, as AMERICANS get mad at, regardles off whether we are liberal, moderate, or conservative: that the way we learn about, select and ultimately review our government has turned into the EFFING JERSEY SHORE. Seriously, I've seen seasons of "The Office" that were less scripted and produced than our average election.

You know what politics is? It's what happens when people don't have anything constructive to do.

Hey! How dare you be, absolutely right. :frown:

You can see it right here.

IB just automatically pushes me all the way to the right wing category completely ignoring any complexity and variety I may harbor in my political makeup and I do him the same disservice by shoving him the extreme left wing and we are at least talking about politics which is something most people actively avoid.

Imagine how bad it gets amongst those that never venture outside their respective political ideological enclaves.
