I found a key fob for my former 2006 M35x and was wondering if it was possible to reprogram it to work with my current 2012 M37x... Anyone know if it's possible?

I don't see why not. Looking at my M56 one, it's identical to my M35 one. I also have a 'blank' FOB I bought for the M35 that I never used that I plan to use for the M56 eventually.

The dealer will be able to tell you for sure. They will have to reprogram it anyway.

I dont think it will work unless it has the same FCCId as your current key. Pull the blade key out and the FCCid is there.
