I found this article on a website. I know you usually get a chip for your ecu or some kind of other device to modify your ecu when you get like bigger injectors or the Z32 airflow meter and other upgrades but I found this article that I would share with everybody to see if this would accually work with our ecu when you do any kind of upgrade.

It is usually done for octane reset. For example if you were to run 93 then all of a sudden switch to 87 it would mess it up for a bit until the ecu relearns. A lot of cars do a check after so many mins of operation or after so many miles. I dont think it can learn anything from just letting the car idle though as mods such as a 3" exhaust and intake do nothing while idling.
