It seems that "BuyAutoParts.com" is reproducing or selling reproduced 2nd gen fuel injectors for the 1st Gen Q45. I was on their site and they had prices listed for both re-manufactured and new fuel injectors. They want $332.00 plus $120 core for their re-manufactured set and only $233.00 for the new fuel injectors. The warranty is 1 year unlimited mileage. I am in need of some replacements and I came across this. Has anyone else dealt with them before for fuel injection and if so, how was your experiences. If they are indeed selling new injectors then that is an awesome price for a set. :dblthumb:

Based in the US; you do not speak to machines; awesome shipping speed :dblthumb:
However: crappy wait times for after-sales services (about 40 minutes last I called). Like everybody else, you seem to get a representative pretty fast when trying to buy items, but tough luck afterwards. They seem to have gotten bigger since I first dealt with them.

My issue was a steering rack. I have the box with their 3rd replacement waiting to be installed. The first 2 they sent me were very sloppy at center, but their policy is to keep replacing warranty items as they will not return cash. This could be a glass half-full/ half-empty thing, but personally I feel quite burned.

It wouldn't surprise me if these aren't repackaged injectors from Standard Automotive Products... I've been running a set for about 8 years, although not that many miles, with good results.

I ended up pulling a complete rail assembly from a 95 that they put in the yard a few days earlier. All injectors measured 11.8-11.9 ohms. They all looked to be original and I believe the car had 176K on the odo. Yeah I read a few posts about how BuyAutoParts had been treating their customers. Not the kind of business I'd care to deal with.

If you go with used injectors, then send them out for cleaning and testing before you spend time installing them. Injector service companies will replace the Pintle caps, screens, and o-rings and provide a flow test report as part of the service.

If you are on a budget, then you can DIY the pintle caps, screens, and o-rings.

I have used the following kit to refurbish a number of Phase II injectors.

I've seen too many cases of Phase II injectors with leaking o-rings after 15+ years of use cause major flooding problems.
