Yes, any numbers you get from any auto maker are ALWAYS MY. They pretend the calendar year doesn't exist.

They would start the 94 numbers with the 2/93 date.

My guess is they "gave up" after addressnig the grille and "overall" comfort/quietness concerns listed by every car mag review. What might be interesting as well is to overlay the LS400 sales next to those .

A while ago I posted manufacture numbers for each model year as reported on the NHSTA site:zerothread?id=113551

That shows that very few '93s were sold, and lots of '94s were sold.I think MPH magazine reported numbers more based on the calendar than model-year.

Interesting that the J30 outsold the Q45 in all years but 96 and 97

I just received the April issue today with the big spread of Ross's Q. What a fun little magazine, and what a great article!

I'm an avid reader of Automobile, because I dig the snob appeal and educated writing style. MPH is great for entirely opposite reasons.

I may have to find this mag somewhere, as I think I read Automobile mag for the same reasons ... especially Jean Lindamood's (or whatever her name is) article.

Quick question, the articles says that the 1st gen Q came with Variable Valve Timing. I thought Infiniti didn't introduce this until later?

The VH45DE had VVT for the 90-95 model years, dropped in 96 and I'm not sure when it was brought back.

MPH Magazine is gone.http://www.edmunds.com/insidel...09904

I guess the April issue on my desk, with Ross's Q, is the very last one.
