Reporting doesn't work and another thread needs to be locked / deleted

a moderator is the starter of this thread. It is turning more ugly every reply. Greg or someone lock / delete this tread for reasons being it would cause more trouble being open.

I agree with you, the thread has turned bad and IMO it would best if it went away. It`s like when the child you love kills, he has to be put down I am not the Mod for that forum so I can`t do it.

I haven't participated in that thread, but I've read it. It could have been maintained to a cordial or gentlemanly level.... but, it obviously hasn't. It's a shame since it's an interesting topic, but as some people are sensitive to the topic at hand, their emotions get the best of them. Oh well....it isn't the first time and won't be the last.

The problem I have with that thread (and this one) is simple.

Someone started a thread expressing a pretty innocuous opinion, which was then left open for discussion.

Someone decided they'd enter in and instead of participating intelligently, started name-calling and acting foolish. NOT cool.

Nope - It's a good thread, despite the brief outbreak of idiocy.
