Ok, I am leaving for a while now to try and talk this older couple out of their '91 240 SE that has been sitting motionless in their driveway for weeks. This is my second time talking to them and will be making a cash offer. Wish me luck.

hmm, whyd you sell your first 240?

Well, I had a Q lined up, but it didn't work out. It didn't have cruise control, so driving longer distances was really uncomfortable. I was also changing jobs, and wound up unemployed for a period and had to pay some bills with part of that money.

Now, I drive about 100 miles a day for work and am racking up way too many miles on my Grand Prix. This 240 I'm looking at has cruise, power everything, leather interior, black fastback w/a 5spd but is completely stock and needs a little work.

BTW, the parents weren't there to talk to. I'll just have to keep going back until they cave...
