Actually, how far is Roanoke <sp?> from Reston, VA? I met a pretty attractive female the last time I was out there on work. I can probably get her to go over there and hang out.
3.5 hours. I have a friend in reston. And Reston has a ton of hot chicks. I'm currently working on finding a job up there (since I have an apartment to move into when I do find a place)

Also, right now I'm going through some withdrawal. My girlfriend is in Laray right now, working at some lutheran camp. Things weren't been going too well between us before she left, and I'm about to just call it quits with her when she gets back from camp.

f*** Reston, the beach is where it's at. All you'd have to get a female-sized SR20 shirt from JGY and all the beetches would flock to you.

i'm gonna be putting one together with an SR for sale soon :)

my friend jay does SR swaps, so every now and again he'll throw one in a car and sell the car as a package. This time, I'm gonna be doing a good portion of the work and be getting a ton of experience from this deal

Sorry to hear about things being on the outs with your girlie. Women are such a pain in the butt, even when things are going good. The only time things are great is for those first few months, when you're madly in love. After that, it's just work.

You're right about there being a bunch of hot women in Reston. It reminds me a lot of Irvine here in California. A whole bunch of well off, attractive females. They even have that same, predatory sizing up your income based on your attire vibe that I get from South Orange County.

The girl I met had a kid, but I was out there working for two days, so that wasn't really a big deal. Yet now that I look back on it, she even managed to turn it into drama by dragging me to a bar where we had to deal with her "kind of ex" boyfriend.

Freakin women! :rolleyes

My girl's been having a tough time being home. She says it brings back a lot of bad memories of a few years ago. And it translated back into our relationship. Basically, if she doesn't get over it, we're over.

Another place that had quite a few hot chicks was New Jersey. I spent a few days up there visiting family, and I saw more good looking women there than I have down here in a month.

Hmmm... I'm short the engine. :)

Car will be picked up day after tomorrow (barring any weirdness or undisclosed defects).

In situations like that, I find that it's usually effective to gently put control of the memories in her court, by saying things like...

"Why do you choose to re-live those bad memories, when with me you could focus on enjoying making new ones?"

"With memories like that so strongly holding your focus in the past, I wonder what it might be like to imagine the future in which you've laid them to rest."

Those are just some off of the top of the head patterns. If you've already been over all of this before, I'm sorry for the rehash. Just tryin to help a brother out.

If she's worth it, you might try to understand that she is lacking closure. If you can elicit what it is she needs to feel closure in the situation, you can get her past them.

the situation is more complicated than what i made it out to be. I might try to use one of those lines when I see her again.

Damn that sucks. I hope all goes well.

On a side note Jersey does have some damn hot chicks. NYC has more. Mmmmmm.....Love them Latinas. The part of NY that I live in(1 hour north of NYC) has a 50/50 chance of hot girls. Some of these *****es are sooooooo busted though. It's disturbing at times.

I hate women.

My car is alot cheaper/way less stressful than ANY girl I have ever met (sans the one I'm talking to right now, but I can get fired for dating her)

Considering the ratio of good looking chicks in Roanoke, Reston is a mecca to me :)

marketing.

i was up there a few months ago interviewing with a few companies in falls church that called themselves marketing firms, but they turned out to be door to door sales firms trying to peddle AT&T local calling plans to small businesses

that makes that a '94 cause i think only the 94s came with leather as an option.

either or, black is a great color, but a PITA to keep looking good. EVERYTHING shows up on it, but when it's clean, it looks damned good

Mine's a LATE production 93... I think 5/93.

Grey leather, whereas Dem's has black leather... I MAY opt to convert it to black when I have the seats re-done. But for now the plan is to go with a dove grey (like the carpet).

my plan is to get some nice, grabby aftermarket seat. preferably in a two tone dove grey/black to match the two tone of the interior. And then when I redo the interior, have the cloth redone with a smooth looking light grey.

I was originally looking at a set of Corbeau legacies, but after sitting in a set of recaros, i've changed my mind. now i just need to find a decent set that won't break the bank and actually hold my butt in place. and S14 seats aren't grippy enough for me.
