I'm totally unimpressed with the 10 character minium of the XM interface in my M35 Sport. Drives me nuts when things don't work properly. I'd like to swap my XM tuner out for a Sirius tuner. If I do, is it just a matter of removing the XM tuner and pluggin the Sirius tuner in? Do I have to mess with the antennae ? Thinking no....and I don't want to mess with the shark fin !

Odd; there is anothe ruser on here that wanted to get rid of sirruis for XM, maybe you can swap parts with him; do a search on the forum and you will find it, and the directions/suggestion on how easy it is to do;

Funny, my XM display shows 16 characters for both artist and song in my M 45.

I have a 06 M45 with the technology package with the a Sirius module installed from Infiniti. I have XM in all my other vehicles. The reciever is a unit in the trunk that plugs in to the radio system. Antenna is the same. Dealers charge $625 to swap the satelite receiver modules.
