Does anyone know if it is possible to replace the Passenger window switches with ones that are backlit?

I've now had five or six people struggling to find the switches at night. Since the entire switchgear, surround and armwrest are black, it really is difficult to look down and see the switches.

Take it out drill small hole and put a small led. That's all I can recommend if this is the problem.

I wasn't actually asking for alternatives. I was hoping someone knew if the switches were standard or common among the other Nissan vehicles.

I haven't had the time or resources to cross reference parts among vehicles to see.

If someone knows or has the time to check, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You,JIM

I know the Frontier is very compatible with the Pathfinder/Xterrra parts. Maybe there is an Infiniti out there with compatible ones. Or what about the Sentra?I'm sure if we put our heads together we can figure it out

Actually the power window switches, turn signals, and wiper stalk are common to many Nissan's. I do not think the Sentra would come with illuminated controls, I would try looking at an '07 or '08 Altima... preferrably a base model without the auto down feature for the passenger window. AFAIK no one has tried this yet, so you would be the first.
