Replacing thermostat 2007 m35

First time posting to this site, please bare with. I was wondering if anyone knew of any links for how to change a thermostat for m35x - such as pics or video. I'm having no luck locating any. thanks in advance.

I was already on FAQ thread yesterday (and just double checked again)didn't notice thermostat. But thanks for trying. That link will likely come in handy at some point I'm sure.

Jamtwo, I think you misunderstood.

There isn't a dedicated thread for the thermostat. You need to download the FSM (factory service manual) using the link towards the top of the page for your car...then browse the FWD/IDX PDF file to see where it talks about the thermostat and then go to that section...it may (or may not) have basic removal steps for the thermostat.

I believe that Ilya was referring to the Service Manuals which are referenced in his FAQ's.

Thanks, did misunderstand, I downloaded manual CO for coolant section.
