Anyone roughly know how much this cost? Mine had cracks in it, and since i'm working on cleaning up the exterior a little but figured I should start here.

Any ideas?

mine was $165

when i was shopping for windsheild the price varies from $100 to $600+.

you just have to ask around.

i find that the people that just specialize in windsheild are the cheapest.

Also check you insurance cause they may cover it

Are those genuine Nissan windshilds or aftermarket ones? Mine could use replacing, so just curious.

mine was genuine NISSAN. I think his was different, but i would not get anything else but real OEM parts for that sort of thing.

Doesn't matter if it's OEM or not...all the manufacturers have to make auto-glass to DOT specifications anyhow.

Call around and go with whatever is cheapest. I'll be paying ~$180 or so this week for a new windshield with new trim, etc.

Also, if you own a coupe, you can either pay close to double (if not more) to keep the "coupe" glass (which has the tint section for the HUD) or you can just get regular glass (like for a hatchback)

I want that little Nissan in the corner, so I'll pay more for that. And when it comes to my windshield, I just feel safter with OEM.

dude. DOT standards = federal laws. the nissan emblem is nothing more than extra $$ :)

I'll take that extra $100 or more and put it towards my new fuel turbo.

I like that Nissan emblem, makes me feel all warm and fuzzy(just like a guarentee stamped on a box- Tommy Boy).
