I am planning to do this next weekend and before I dive into this task is there anything I need to pay attention to while I am moving/disconnecting things to remove the VC's?

I plan on replacing the spark plugs while I am doing the VC's. I have replaced the KS's already so I know this is going to take a few hours. The driver side I understand is a bit more difficult because of the TB and other things, so I think I will start with this side first.

Any tips or suggestions from those who have done this will be most appreciated.

Thanks.

This is a recent thread on the same issue

I do not know what your technical ability but this is not the easiest job to do in the driveway. It can be done but it takes time and the right tools and of course OE parts.

Good Luck, If you do decide to do it yourself post pics, we need an article on it. We can get you a custom title.

Oh... this is dreamy easy on the '96! Not so much on the 90-93 with all of the RTV scraping and cleaning! Speaking of cleaning... don't forget to get a case or two of brake parts cleaner and clean the insides of the covers.
