I have a 1995 Nissan 240SX SE. The rubber seal/liner (or water drain filter) needs replacing. As I understand, the rubber liner is just to slow down the water flow inside the car. The internal sunroofs are designed to channel water into internal tubes that empty the water out at the two real wheel wells.

I found a web page once that detailed the steps to repairing this, but I lost the bookmark and haven't been able to find the page again.

I have the original Nissan Repain Manual (PDF format), but it doesn't show anything about the sunroof.

Q: Do you know where I can find a technical repair manual for the sunroof?

Q: What is good to use to hold the rubber seal on?

Q: What are the steps to properly remove parts from the sunroof to fix/replace the seal?

Thanks in advance!=Dan=

Open your sunroof and loof toward the front of the sunroof assembly, you should see a spount on either side to drain water down the A pilar. I usually use air to blow out the line, it also has the drains in the back of the sunroof assembly then drain through spouts at the rear quarters right behind the wheels. I will shoot air up ward from that point with the sunroof and shade closed. the seal is part of the glass assembly, to replace the seal you gotts replace the glass. I dont know if there is any real good adhesive that will keep the seal attached.
