I'm going to replace the headgasket, the timing chain, and the waterpump all at the same time since I'm going to have it all apart anyways. Any detailed instructions would be a great help before I get started. My engine is the 2400 12 valve with auto trans. Everything is stock. Thanks ~ Ron

its not hard. drop oil pan, pull valve cover, pull radiator, and pull crank pulley. then take a look at it and be sure you are up to it.

turn to tdc on intake stroke. removed accessorys, oil pump, water pump, distributor, and stuff.

remove timing cover and timing chain.

disconnect exhaust and intake plumbing(there will be a million little things on the intake side).

remove rocker shafts with rockers(be carefull not to drop the lifters).

remove head bolts and pull the head. head bolts should be loosened in 3 steps.
