At first I thought my new driveshaft was too long but I laid them side by side and they're the same length! Has anyone else dealt with this before? It's a short 90 hardbody FWIW. It's lowered a few inches, nothing too extreme. I considering trying to find new Ubolts to hike the whole truck back up if I can't figure this out.

For that matter, does anyone know or have a stock U bolt laying around and can tell me the diameter, length and width?

You sure the slip yoke is sliding all the way in? Unless it's slammed, your stock length shaft should work. Or...you could get the frame up on jackstands and let the axle hang...that should give you another inch or so to work it in there.

Lower it back on the wheels carefully after you do though to ensure you still have some slip left at the transmission end and don't jamb the shaft.
