Replacing the dead pedal studs that hold the dead pedal in place

I found out the my dead pedal was missing some 10MM nuts to secure it. So like a dumb a** I screwed on the nuts and low and behold the stud broke off.

Is there a way to replace those studs that hold the dead pedal in place?

I guess cutting whats left of the stud off and drilling out the remains is the only way to go. Best tool to do this would be a dremel I suppose.
