my car took some damage to its core support in a small fender bender. Is anyone familiar with trying to replace this part and can say if its a good or bad idea? It appears to be welded on, was wondering if its a pain or not.

never done it, but i believe it is a cut and weld type of job. pull the radiator and condenser to get access to the core support. should be easy if you can weld.

you have to drill out spot welds and then either plug weld (MIG welder) or spot weld (spot welder)

BTW dont drill out spot welds without a spot weld cutter...
