does anyone have a write up on removing and replacing the alternator? I could usea bit of help

pull out the radiator, pull of tensioner bracket, remove big alternator bolt, pull forward, remove all connections, REMEBER which wires go where!

I didn't have to pull the radiator to replace my alternator. It wasn't fun tho. Here is the write-up I used

I had to do my alternator within weeks of buying my car (my Z is my first car). I've had no previous automotive experience either. If you are good with your hands, it isn't very hard. Just take it one step at a time, and you will have no problem. If you have any issues, let me know!

And IMO, pulling the radiator and fan make things a lot easier...

I don't mean to jump on this post but i see no sense in starting another of the same topic. Anyways did you use a aftermarket or oem belt for replacement? I have a aftermarket belt and it seems about an inch too long. When i adjust the belt i run out of adjustment and the belt is almost tight but not enough. So i'm guessing that the aftermarkets are longer than the oem belts.
