I've noticed that the blades on my stock fan are cracked pretty bad, so i want to replace it with an electric fan.

I am willing to spend the money on a new, aftermarket system. but its got to be a good install. Im not going to spend all that money on a fan system just to rig and fabricate things so it fits and works with the other stock systems.

Otherwise I will get a taurus or altima fan that I have been hearing about. but what do these require for installation?

So does anybody know if i order one of those flex a lite fans what installation steps are necessary?

You'll probably not want the taurus or altima fans if you don't want to cut and fab stuff up.

The flex a lites are just run the ties through the radiator and run them through the mounting holes on the fans themselves. Hook up the fans to the trigger.

I'd suggest getting an electric thermo to go with those fans or to get a fan controller like the pivot or hks. I'm using the hks and it's an excellent controller.

Wire it up to a fan controller like the DIF fan controller, http://www.frsport.com/DIF_Dua....html - I been using it for a few years without any issues. Has built-in relays to make installation a snap without any additional hardware, otherwise you'll be spending additional $$$ for relays & wiring for other units.

Do not hook it up to the ignition (or any other +12V switched) otherwise you'll defeat the purpose of having electric fans.

^^ indeed.

built in relays you say? yeah, that'd make installation a bit cleaner. I used the green nissan relays with my hks fan controller. not too expensive if you've already had a clip pass through and pulled all the relays and such for spare.

after reading this:http://home.satx.rr.com/nissan...t.htmwhich concluded that "With regards to fans, the Altima fans will outflow almost anything commonly available on the market."

I decided to go with a new altima fan and the dif controller
