I recently picked up a set of stiffer springs from a G sedan that had the optional handling pkg. I have had the rear springs out already. No problem.

What is involved with replacing the front springs?

thnxs for any tips. [IMG][/IMG]

No experience with the G's suspension yet, but if you don't have the FSM, I would download it at http://www.phatg20.net and read about it there.

Good luck!

Doing the fronts will require removal of the strut assembly, which in and of itself is not difficult you will also need to compress the spring and remove the 17mm nut. You will need a strut compression device to do this correctly.

I have found the loaner tools at Advance and AutoZone to be pretty good for this... I feel sure they go with good quality tools in this area especially due to liability issues. I would avoid cheap Harbor Freight compression tools.
