replacing SOHC (ka24e) cam.. :: need help

As i look at my head (*my engine is disassembled).. there is like.. 2 rods holding the rocker arms on the head... do i remove that rod (held down by like 5 bolts on both sides).. My only concern is the valves.. i dont want those valve springs to shoot out if i remove them.. I plan on throwing a Nismo cam in and i want to make absolutly sure i do it right.

KA's have rocker arms? I guess I didn't notice when I took the cams out of the DE. Or maybe KA-E's have them. I don't know. Can't help you dude, I've only done head stuff w/o rocker arms, I've never even seen rocker arms.
