Replacing S13 coupe trunk bars/springs

Hi all,

I'm still working on the theft repair for my s13 coupe, and one of the odder things stolen was the torsion bars/springs that hold the trunk up. Right now I can't pop it, and when I open it with the key, it's just dead weight.

My questions are:

1.) What was holding the trunk up in the first place? a.) Was it bars or springs?2.) Where can is buy said bars or springs, and for how much?3.) Anyone know how to put them in?

It's been oddly difficult to find any info on this anywhere. And to be honest, I never looked at was holding the trunk up before it was stolen, so I'm not even sure what I'm looking for. All my buddies have hatches, so they're no help.

Any advice?

should have been a bar.

easy install, get the part from a dealer/someone parting out and we'll go from there.
