replacing rotors on 97 nissan pickup

im trying to figure out how to remove the rotor. do i need a slide hammer to remove the hub or should it just unbolt.will i need to seperate the bearing and repack it? any help would be great. visuals, a website i could go to for anymore help. thanks

You will need to remove the grease cap, remove the outer bearing and such before the hub assembly will slide off the spindle.

You don't need a hammer.

when putting this back together, it's critical you torque the hub nut appropriately.

You might go drop $15 on a Haynes manual at the parts store for the step by step and photos if you haven't done this before.
