sorry for the noob question but i need to replace my rod bearings but dont know how. i have a ka24de if that makes a diff. please help.

is there anyway to replace them without pulling the engine?

Theoretically you could but it'd be ridiculously sloppy and far harder than just pulling the motor. You'd need a lift to do it in car.

You can do it in the car, but because of the transmission not cooperating, I ended up pulling the damn thing.Keep in mind I have a cherry picker, I just thought it would have been easier with the engine in the car.
