Replacing rear turn signal light

My 1993 J30 turn sgnal light is out. I looked in the service manual and it was no help. In the User Manual, it tells you how to replace every other light, but says that the rear turn signal and brake lights should be replaced only by the dealer. Anyone know how to get at this light?
