Replacing rear section of fuel line

I have a 93 altima, and while taking off the fuel pump, I ripped the 'Out" hose, now it is too short to hook back into the fuel pump (im talking about the hose outside of the tank, that goes from the tan plastic cover to the steel line - sorry im tired lol)

So, does anyone know where the steel line meets the rubber line? Do I have to drop the tank to get to it? I really hope not
