You may also consider replacing the thermostat. If your going to replace the belt, then go ahead and do the idler and tensioner as well, cheap insurance. However maybe some1 else can chime in on a part number for the idler and tensioner assemblies as I have no clue.

Taken from replacement part #'s thread:

13070-42L00 rb series timing belt tensioner. Same part number as VG30E (84-89 300zx)

I wouldn't replace the tensioner or idler, personally, unless you didn't do it when you installed the tomei belt.

Here's a list of things I am replacing (or have replaced) before starting my swap, also, where I found them and their price (shipped/US). I have an R32 motor, so I had to install the JUN collar...thus, you may not need some of these things.

-JUN oil pump drive collar: $140 from Taka Kaira + $140 labor-ACL rod and main bearings: $310 from B&E Customs-Greddy timing belt: $110 from eBay (Motor came with a NISMO belt in great shape, but "better safe than sorry.")-N1 water pump: $170 Nissan Motorsports-N1 oil pump: $330 RHDJapan-Tensioner/idler: $135 Jon Powell (he's having an issue with his supplier, so you may want to look elsewhere.)-Nismo Thermostat: $85 from B&E Customs

There are some other parts, but I'm swapping those as mods...not as maintainance.

It's also been recommended that you replace all the hoses before the swap to ensure that you won't be stuck changing a blown hose when the motor is in the car. I will be doing this very soon.

Hope this helps, feel free to post if you need links or phone numbers.

What do you replace the hoses like the intake manifold coolant hoses and heater core hoses with? Are there kits out there or do you just go to AutoZone and buy some rubber hose of the proper diameter and cut it to fit? I've seen some silicon radiator hoses, but they're outrageously expensive for what they do.

Where did you get your Samco heater hose kit? I found a kit for the RB26 at OptionImports, but can't find one for the RB25.

Oh and I tried buying a bunch of rubber hose from AutoZone and spent an hour getting pissed off last night trying to bend it to fit. It just ended up kinking and further annoyed me.

I haven't tackled this part of my project yet, but the "formed" hoses are posing a small bit of concern...thanks for the RB26 info...

You take good care of that motor. I miss it already.
