Replacing my chrome strip around my windows

I was wondering what is the best way to replacing or over up my chrome border that goes around my windows. I have a 2005 3.5 se the whole thing is black but that lame a** chrome strip. Should I try and paint it or wrap it. Anyone have any idea and or some pics?

cover it with vinyl.
