I am planning on replacing all my interior lights (map, dome, step) with red LED's. For people who have done this, are the colored lights bright enough? Also anyone who has pictures of this please post them.

my friend installed red ones in his car and they are bright, really friendly on the eyes but it's hard to look around for stuff inside the car.

depends on the LEDs you get....some a dull, others are bright. My friend did a blue color to his chrysler and the suckers nearly blind me every time i get in...

I stuck with the cool white LEDs, definitely bright enough, was a pain getting vanity mirror ones to fit (duct tape to the rescue ), check out the sig for a night shot

Cell phone quality, but gives you an idea. (Multiply the light intensity of the LEDs by about 10) My blue is really bright and I love it.

Let me know what types of lights you are putting in and models, I also want to swap out all the interiors for red LED's.

To swap out these lights is it as easy as just pulling the OEM bulb out and popping in the new or is there more involved?

Excellent! I will be ordering them next week then =]

Also, i was recommended the WLED-WHP Pure White High Power from superbrightleds.com as well. Since they are twice the price, not complaining really since its like 2 dollars lol, what makes those so much more expensive
