I am trying to find a thread or post that details how to change injectors on my 1994 J30 without taking off the manifold. I did a search and found one post but, the pictures were gone. Is there anyplace where or anyone, who can direct me, guide me on how to do this procedure? Are there any posts that have the process detailed?

If I can get some good instructions, I might photograph the process for others.

Thanks,Dave in NC

I recently did that procedure and I STRONGLY suggest getting the extension adapter for the dremel.Makes it much easier and you will have better control of the grind.Best 15.00 investment Ive made in awhile.

Wow, thanks Gerarddjg. Exactly what I was looking for. Where is the place to get the injectors?

Thanks yodawill2000 for the advice. I am going to invest in a dremel tool with the extension for this job.

Which injector(s) did you do and, how long did it take to do the grinding? This will give me a better idea of how much I will have to take off. Also, did you do a final check before disassembly with an ohm meter?

Ive gotten my two Injectors from Autozone for about 89 Bux.The first injector didn't need any grinding. The second one took very little.I'm into Metal casting so I have a tad advantage on how much you can grind. But basically just enough to get a good bite with the proper sized Phillips head. And use hex head screws to replace the old phillips. With a ball nosed hex driver its a piece-O-cake to tighten the injector cap down.

Grinding is the quick part. Getting the old injector out will be the tough part !!

Soak the snot out of it the day before with liquid wrench and twist it a lot before you attempt to pop it out.
