Hi, I am new to this forum, and I tried to find a solution using the search function but i came up with nothing.

Anyhow, i wanted to replace the bulb for the high mounted brake light in my rear view window.

any help would appreciated, thanks.

Try the FSM, it will have full instructions. There's a link in my signature to download one in PDF form (for free).

My guess is that it can be accessed from the trunk.

so based on the BT.pdf in the FSM (page 26) , i would have to remove SEVERAL pieces, does that make sense?

on my 2001 sentra, all I had to do was push on the bottom of the third brake light assembly while pushing it up. It snaps out of place, pull it tward you, twist out the bulb and socket replace the bulb, and put it all back how it goes. About a two minute job and no tools needed.
