Does it require me to take off the front bumper? I need to install another driver's side headlight motor. I would just go and examine it, but my car is in the shop at the moment.

And if I have to take off the front bumper...umm...where are the screws on the sides? I cant imagine how to take it off and put it back on based on the way it looks. ( I used to have a honda until last december)

No, you do not have to remove the front bumper to change the headlight motor. Here's a rough step by step list of instructions:1. Pop up the headlights and remove the plastic headlight fairing. It should be secured by 2-3 black screws on the side of the bucket. 2. Remove the 4 screws holding the chrome headlight surround trim piece and remove the headlight. DO NOT mess with the adjustment screws or else you'll have to re-aim your lights (a PITA).3. Unplug the headlight motor harness. 4. Disconnect the headlight arm from the bucket.5. Now, you'll have to reach down and feel for the 2-3 bolts holding the actual motor in place. I think they are 10mm or 11mm. This will be a bit difficult.6. Remove the motor, replace, and reverse the steps.

Remember, this is just a rough write up so I may have overlooked a few things.

Good luck, -kouki

Damn skippy thats difficult...Those things are either rusted or just damn tight. Screwdriver doesnt work and I cant get a good enough grip for pliers and/or visegrips (not enough space).

Any other ideas how to get these off?
