Ok using what i have found on the forum i have gotten as far as dropping the steering wheel and now the console is just hanging annoyingly. There is no way to do anything productive with the gauges when the console is in the way. How do you remove it, and after that, what will I need to know to install the gauges. Ive had the gauges for about two weeks and I dont want to have to take them someplace to get them installed.

Did you find out what the rattle was that you fixed, Mine has the clear plasticc over that rattles with the back housing that goes around it. 3m window sealer works pretty good to stop rattles.

im about to just dynamat my whole interior, doors, dash(the parts i can get to), roof, floor, back seat, rear side panels, everything. im getting a real good deal on about 100 sq.ft of it, so that should ake care of the problem pretty good. i think one of the main causes of the rattles is my brother though, he always slams my door when he gets out like its a 85 ford econoline(i use that because we used to have one and we used to have to slam the doors a little to shut them) but i told him i'd kick his *** if he keeps doin it.

S13- Several 10mm bolts underneath column will remove lower panel. Two 12mm bolts will loosen steering column. Four phillips screws remove the gauge cluster trim, unplug all switches and remove it. Three screws secure the cluster itself.
