Replacing foglight bulbs

i was just wondering if anyone knows the bulb size/type for the fog light.... i searched google and the topics here and no luck. i dont have my manual handy.

also if i wanted to upgrade just the bulbs (no hid's at this time) do i have to remove the front bumper still? or can i just unclip the black plastic cover underneath??

any help is much appreciated!

They are H11. No need to remove the bumper, you can reach under and unclip the splash guard to get to them.

also is there a restriction to the watts the harness can handle for the fogs? 55 watt? 60?

and anyone have any recommendations of bulbs/brand they put in their fogs??

No more than 55w. I'd recommend PIAA if your not going the HID route.

I would love to put HIDs in my fogs, but I know nothing regarding HIDs. What would be the best choice there? is there more to it besides just what type you get?

Almost all HID kits are plug and play and totally reversable. I would get HID's for the lows before I did the fogs, but to each their own.

the 3.5 already has hid i thought, and since I can use my fog lights by themselves I think it would be more sensible to get hids for the fogs then if I wanted better I would go for the lows. does that make sense? or maybe I'll do both lows and fogs at same time. but regardless my fogs need hids soon
