my driver side rear e-brake cable got torn up (long story) i have another whole e-brake assembly from my parts car, but was wondering how to just change that one side (i know you can because nissan lists two seperate parts numbers for each side) i just need to know how to seperate the two cables that branch off from the single one that the e-brake lever is attached to (if that makes sense)

I assume you have a 240?? There should be a tie bar above the drive shaft where the 2 cables hook into. Angle the tie bar and slide the cable out of it. then unbolt the clamps holding the cable to the car.
