I'm replacing my outer cv boot on my 96 maxima. The nut to remove the spindle seems to be frozen. It is a right handed thread? Any sugestions?AZ Duke

I broke a wrench on it. It's an axle nut, what do you expect?

If you have a pneumatic or impact gun, try that.

You have the tire on still and not jacked up when you're trying to break the nut free I assume??? I had to use 1/2" ratchet and about a 3ft breaker bar.I'll tell you now, that nut is going to be the least of your troubles with this repair. I just went through this 2 weeks ago. Good luck to ya
