I think there has been a post about this topic, but I couldn't find it, so new one.

I am planning to change the pedals. but I have no idea how to go about it.

Ive got this web page will a list of pedals http://www.thenismoshop.com/ik...=2648

Has anyone done this? if so, can you explain to me how to do it and maybe give me an instruction on how to change them?

Thank guys

those pedals just get attached over your existing pedals, you are not replacing anything, just adding that on top

ok i swear i'm not trying to be a smart A$$, but besides the overall look of the after market peddles, is there any real point of changing out the peddles. Just curious...

Where did you get your aftermarket pedals? Yours look great. Can you give a link to where you got yours from? I was able to Razo website, but couldnt seem to buy it from them. so please. and which size did you buy? medium?

and do you think that even if i buy one of these pedals from the link i provided, the procedure would be the same?

thanks

I have heard from people that the reason most performance pedals are metal is because you can feel it through your shoe better than the rubberized-made-for-comfort pedals. This is supposed to give you superior feedback and more precise control when you drive.

Sounds like a load of crap to me. I suspect it's just for appearance and those changing them are attempting to justify a purely cosmetic decision. Kind of like how I tell people that my spoiler really makes my rear wheels stick to the ground (on a front wheel drive car) and gives me better traction and handling at high speeds. What it really does is look pretty.

I tell people that my rims are lighter than the stock wheels and decrease the rotational mass needed to turn them thus increasing my speed. What they really do is save me from having to constantly check for missing hubcaps.

Your question has already be answered and nobody is bitching at anyone. We are just comparing the pedal modification to other performance mods that are actually mostly cosmetic changes. If this "disturbs" your then perhaps you should get your sense of humor adjusted.

I would agree with monkey. (or do you prefer bear?) the comment was made to illustrate that though there is likely some performance benefit to better rims/tires, the true benefit is actually cosmetic, just like most other mods that people do. (just like marleyfan's spoiler)

When I first thought that out in my head it sounded MUCH better, haha

I love you all...

Here's my answer: Hey, they've got carbon fiber and will reflect blue glow very nicely... I also drive barefoot a lot and I like the way they feel... like, in a textile way, not in a control way...

As an answer to the more serious questions posed...

Yes, they are the 'medium' and they come as 2 kits (gas & break + dead pedal)

I've seem them offered by CarDomain, my mom bought me these from a different vendor and I'm not sure who, but it was online. (CarDomain just had them on backorder)

Some aftermarket pedals have far superior grip features for inclement weather and or racing. Just my .02 though...

I just installed some race-spec pedals in the Versa that I got from a local race shop!

Tell me what you guys think, they're Ichiban pedals and were directly imported from Japan. Now, one thing that makes them so special is that the rubber inlays and the bigger pedals make the car feel a lot different during "spirited" driving because your foot gets nicely stuck on the gas and clutch (still able to hit the brake is the same reaction time, etc.)

You may find it easier to do some 'heel-to-toe' shifting if you bring the gas pedal down a little bit... just my opinion.

well... if he bought them from a local shop... he can't really link to a physical place... But he could offer more info as to brand/style or part number...

did you try a google for Ichibahn pedals?Seems like his pedals may be fourth down on this list ... you could try that... (This was the biggest selection of specifically Ichibahn pedals I could find.)

Ahh! and here's a better pic of the pedals but the first site has a better price. (but if you hit 'Details' on this website you can see the colors better.)

Hi everyone

Im about to buy pedals for my V. But the one I was going to buy is currently out of stock, so I am thinking about buying the same one in different size.

But Im a little bit worried that the size matters. Do you think there is some specific size for our pedals on V? or any racing pedal will fit to our V.

Thanks guys

I think mine are "medium" but it's whatever you'll be comfortable with. Mine seem pretty much the factory size... you may be more comfortable with bigger or smaller...

I say it's up to personal preference.

These would probably fit but they seem to be the exact same pedals I've seen at just about every autozone or pep boys I've ever gone to. I would suggest you buy them there so that if they don't fit, you can return them.

It might cost you an extra $10 or $15, but the savings in shipping and the piece of mind would be worth it.

Thanks jfanaselle for great advice. I will go check AutoZone first then.

is your pedal add on type (simply wrapping the stock on) or the one which we need to drill a hole to stock one?
