First off I am planning on replacing the stock bose speakers in my Z. After 17 years they are in desperate need of replacing. I was wondering what the stock size of the speakers are. And another thing was I was told that the amplifiers need re-wiring. I was wondering if someone could tell me the size I need to buy, and if it was possible for a do it yourself kind of person to rewire the amps. If so could someone show me a diagram of how to do it. And then if someone could also talk me through of how to take the door panels off the, and how to get the speakers behind the seats out also. This would be much appreciated, since this is going to turn into my vacation project for a few days.

I believe the bose system used 6.5 in the goor and 5x7 in the rear? you can check at cruthfield.com just be sure when replacing the speakers you keep the bose boxes the speakers are mounted in, it makes a huge difference, as for the stock amp wiring I have no idea about how it's hooked up?
