replacing bose hu from 94 j30 with bose hu from 98 maxima

is this possible? and if so what will i need i got the maxima h.u for free from ma friend and would love to use it seeing that both my cd and cassette player dont work.

They did change the plugs between those years so you'll need to do some work there. Other than that everything should work out for you.

you would have to buy 2 adapters essentially, your standard factory to aftermarket adapter for your j30 and a "reverse" harness for a 98 maxima. Other than that I think your good go.
