Would appreciate explanation of how to remove glove box and get to blower motor to replace it with new one.

also should I attempt to just lubricate/clean the motor.

car has 87 k and makes whirring /chirping sound in blower motor area from time to time. . tech at dealer says replace the motor ( 213$ part plus labor) ; understand it is a relatively simple job .

thx

First off, welcome aboard.

Secondly, how much does the part run not at the dealership? The blower motor books out at an hour job, so you would be correct in assuming it may not be too dificult. I have pulled the glove box guts to replace teh cabin filter, not too tough a deal but I did not have reason to dig further to the blower motor. There are service manuals available here somewhere, do a search. Good luck.--Mike
