I did a quick search to see if I could find a how to for this procedure, but I didn't find anything.

Is it at all necessary to lift the vehicle to replace both belts?

My idler pulley flew off on the freeway and I thought I would replace both belts while doing the pulley.

Any help or a link would be greatly appreciated.

TIA

Lifting the car up, weather by floor jack or two post lift, makes changing the belts a lot easier.

Tips for changing the belts can be found within the diagram on page MA-10.http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/i30/1996_I30/ma.pdf
