I was wondering if someone could give me a quick rundown of the steps to change the accesory belts?

Is there a way to tighten the belt for the time being, until I can replace them all?

One of the belts (not sure which one exactly) has started to squeal, and I want to get it taken care of before it snaps or falls off completely.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

They can be tightened w/o much effort in less tha an hour. You'll need some metric wrenches and sockets. Take off the splash guard and you can get to all three from underneath. It is self explanatory once you get under there. The idler pulley tightens the AC, the Alternator has an adjustment bolt, don't remember the power steering, but you will see it (you might be able to do that from the top of the engine).

If you are under there anyway, just replace them all. It is a pain to tighten them only to go back in a few months to replace.

Thanks for the information!

There is no way to tighten them from the top right?

I was planning on doing this on the side of the street, and I don't have jackstands or anything right now

Thanks again
