Replacing a rear main seal in my 92 Q45

Help!!! can anyone tell me an easy way to replace the rear main oil seal on my 92 Q 45? Do you need to move the transmision back or can you do it without moving it? My brother-in-law and I can do the repair, but I cant find any info on the net. Hope someone out there can help. Thanks JJDUDE

Usual to drop the transmission.

Check your turbine sensor and might as well do the 3rd motor mount and exhaust hangers while you are there.

Usual to drop the transmission............as opposed to dropping engine?.....................hard to get engine out with transmission in place.
