I just installed a new Pioneer head unit, and there's a rattling noise from the right front speaker with high volume. it seems to be blown - cone paper was damaged or something.

So I'd like to know how the speaker is connected with the remote amp near it. This one has Active System. Is it wired with connectors or soldered together? What's the make and model of the speaker? Can I get the same one, not a pair? Thanks!

they are wired with connectors to my guess, thats how my friends 93 coupe is, and I do believe they are the same in terms of audio. I doubt you can get one speaker, might as well start saving for a decent pair of 4x6's.

I like those plexiglass mounting adaptors, I just used some of that wood from the spare tire cover. I had issues with the speaker being out too far though, so I removed the 6" and put in some nice 4*6 speakers. I still want the 6" speakers up there though. Is there a brand that has a real low profile? I am going to replace the mounting adapters with something more sturdy anyway, so I want to put in some new speakers. :)
