I know that the rear spark plug wire on my 2001 Pathfinder (I think #5 coil) is difficult to get out, you have to remove numurous parts. I real don't need to replace the plugs but I would like to replace the wires. Would it be ok just to replace 5 out of six wires?

Can you clarify a bit re: spark plug wires?
If you have a 2001 Pathfinder, then it should have the 3.5 engine, which has coils, meaning it has no distributor or plug wires.
Thx.

What buzzman said. 2001 has individual coils sitting on top of each plug. There are no high-voltage spark-plug wires.
