I want to change the reverse bulbs in my 2013 Infiniti M37 with cree LED's, I have looked all over the internet for info on how to do this but have had no luck. If someone has done this or can point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it.

Open the trunk and then open the marked clip shown in the picture "left and right sides"

You shouldn't need to open the smaller clips on the sides as I was able to change the bulbs with just opening the one big clip and then maneuver with my hand.

aiham78, Thanks for the reply but I think you might be speaking of the license plate lights because it seems the reverse lights are built into the taillights instead on my 2013 M37.

Sorry, I assumed that the 2011 and 2013 would be the same design. When I open the trunk lid up, the reverse lens are within the trunk lid in my car and they will go up too with the lid. I changed my back-up reverse bulbs few weeks ago this way.

For the license plate bulbs, I didn't need to open the trunk, I unscrewed the license plate lens from outside and then changed them.

aiham78,
I've got a 2011 M37 sport, and I have ordered lights for the front, fog LED's, parking LED's and new HID bulbs, all to match color. I have already replaced the license plate lights, took all of 3 minutes. I have hesitated to change the reverse lights. I like the idea of brighter LED's for the reverse lights but am concerned about a thing or two. Did you go brighter? What bulbs/LED's? If you have a reverse camera, did it cause a glare or effect the visibility negatively on the reverse camera? Thanks.

For my Back-up LEDs, I used these from Amazon www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0096J90KW 68-SMD T15 12V LED Replacement Light Bulbs. They are 10% more brighter than stock but my goal of using LEDs is the color rather than the brightness, I wanted to get the pure daylight color which these bulbs achieved. The reverse camera works fine without any issues.

I don't regret changing the reverse lights, it is worth it for the few seconds when you reverse the car "even in day time".
