Replacin heads on my 93 - anything else I should replace

I am replacing the heads on my 93 path V6, 4WD, MT, VG30E and if anyone have info what else I should replace while the whole top is off? Also anything special I should be aware of while doing the job. I do have FSM for this truck so I am pretty sure how to do it but maybe there are some things the FSM does not address? Like how to unplug all those electrical connectors with that little wire holding the hooks on sides of the connector?
