Replacement Wiper Blades

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

Great question. Love to hear what you think. I never replaced mine in my 4yr old RDX and my 08 EX35 wipers are SO LOUD and jumpy / skippy... Love to hear thoughts on what is super smooth/quiet and of course works good.

:)

I suspect the OEM's would work, but they are pricey. I like the look of them and wonder if there are aftermarket ones that still show that look.

any input on this? My driver side also jumps and skips a lot. Mine has Bosch wipers so not sure if these were replaced aftermarket by the previous owner, what brand are the OEM?

I like the reviews on these PIAA Super Sporza: http://www.amazon.com/93355-Super-Sporz ... roduct_top

I'm pretty certain that our cars do not come with OEM Bosh Icon Wipers since they are usually considered higher grade wiper blades.
I would think the set you have may just need replacing since they are worn out.

My dealer installed for free on my EX35 the branded Rain-X Repel Wiper Blades. These supposedly are coated with Rain-X water repelling solution and they seem quite effective.

You may wish to consider checking them out at your local Autozone / Advance Auto Parts / Pep Boys store.

Well after reading various reviews and posts around the forums I decided to go with PIAA Sci-tech Silicone. Will receive thursday and post what I think as soon as I use them.

just replaced mine with the Goodyear Assurance blades. I actually haven't had the chance to try them out yet, as only my wife has driven the car since they were changed. On my other cars, these wipers lasted fairly long and wiped pretty well, but not as perfect as OEM. The difference is only subtle though, and they wipe much better than the worn out blades that they replaced.

The only other reason I used the Goodyear blades is because I got them from Costco, which was running a buy-one get-one-free promotion a few months back. With the coupon it only cost me about $8 for the pair. And if i don't like them, I can always fall back on Costco's generous return policy :) .

Soooo I had to return the PIAA blades. Despite the PIAA website AND amazon claiming a certain size for the passenger side, it did not fit. Also the drivers side blade skipped just like the worn out bosch that I was replacing.

So I ended up going with Bosch Evolution and they're working great. Haven't had to use them in rain yet but with washer fluid they're smooth as can be.

to those that have replaced with aftermarket versions - what is the difference in appearance like? I know the OEM ones are larger (height?) or maybe just more solid looking?
